Youth Self Defense and Personal Safety

Self Defense and Personal Safety is a program utilizing R.A.D (Rape Aggression Defense) system curriculum.  RAD is a nationally recognized personal safety and self defense organization which has been promoting increased safety measures and basic self defense techniques for all participants.

What will This Program Teach Me?

All classes are taught by experienced, nationally certified RAD safety instructors, as well as counselors from Alternatives to Violence on teh Palouse.  Participants will be able to better avoid potentially harmful situations, better identify and reduce risk for yourself and the community, and will have an increased knowledge of how to handle potentially harmful situations with basic self defense tactics.

Note:  Please wear comfortable, athletic clothing and closed toe athletic shoes.  Come with layers, as we will be sitting for parts of the day and the room can become cold.  A lunch break will be provided, but please bring your lunch and/or snacks.
